Pelopidas Keravnos founded PELOPIDAS CATERING. Pelopidas began his duration in the catering industry in 1975 with a partnership in WESTEND CATERING SERVICES,which only lasted for two years.In 1977 he than opened NICOSIA CATERING SERVICES with his koumparo who only wanted to stay as a small family business but Pelopidas wanted to expand the business thus in 1988 he opened PELOPIDAS CATERING SERVICES.

Prior to opening Westend Catering Services Pelopidas worked at the basic end of the food industry, from the meat abattoirs to the fresh fruit and fresh seafood industries.

After opening his new catering firm bill (Pelopidas) took the market to the next level by introducing cloth serviettes fully dressed staff and a cooking process which will have the opposition craving his way of cooking. His biggest draw card was the fact that all the food was cleaned washed and cooked on the premises of the function if the facilities existed. Bill has expanded his business to the size he wanted doing between ten to fifteen functions and between 1500 to 3000 heads per weekend.

To achieve this numbers in the catering industry Bill had to have staff that were trustworthy and knew the industry this were the PERICLEOUS BROTHERS who have worked for him since they were 10 years old (between 10 to 15 years per brother in the industry). Thus in 1991 Bill decided to take new partners in the game dew to illness after a lot of consideration he decided to sell the business to the Pericleous brothers thus getting a new and fresh prospectus to the business.

In February 1992 PELOPIDAS CATERING moved to the next stage in the business evolution by becoming a PTY LTD company with six directors this consisted of Pelopidas and Anthoula Keravnos the brothers Perry, George, Moysis and Mario Pericleous.

In 1995 Bill decided to retire from the catering industry so selling the business solely to the brothers. The company has been flourishing since with the opening of three function centers since and in 1991 taking on a new partner Andrew and Miroula Plakidis.
